The Descendants of John Heywood of Concord, Massachusetts

Helen P. Mead, age 89, of Crestview, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. She was born in Olean, N.Y. on Oct. 13, 1925.

Her husband, Jack Mead; a son, Thomas Mead; and a son-in-law, Tom Rado, preceded her in death.

Her survivors are her daughter, Sandra Rado; one sister, Tina Blackmer Boyd; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Mead Dorrian; two grandchildren, Peggy Rado Mack (Brian) and Kim Rado Colleary (Mike); and one great-grandchild, Hannah Mack.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a strong wonderful person who filled the world with sunshine.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14 from the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, with Chaplain Josh Woods officiating. Burial followed at Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery.
