The Descendants of John Heywood of Concord, Massachusetts

Funeral services for John A. Teaney, nonagenarian, who died Friday at 10:25 a.m. in Villa Terrace Convalescent Home, Alton, will be conducted Sunday at 2?30 p.m. in Shields Memorial. The Rev. H. L. Wheeler, of Carlinville will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.

Mr. Teaney, a retired painting contractor, was born in Macoupin County, Jan. 28, 1871. He was the last of five children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Teaney.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Tudor, Greenfield, with whom he made his home before entering the nursing home six months ago; a son, Darrel, Alton, and a granddaughter, Carol Ruth Teaney, Alton. His wife, the former Ena L. Cannedy, to whom he was married Jan. 10, 1904, died in September of 1954.
