Obituary of Bertha Avis Millhollen
Bertha Millhollen of Eugene died Jan. 24 of ovarian cancer at age 88. A celebration of life will be in the late spring.
She was born June 8, 1922, in Milaca, Minn., to Edwin and Minna Scholl Moon. She married Cecil F. Farman in 1944 and Lloyd F. Millhollen in 1968.
She graduated as salutatorian from Roseburg High School in 1941. She was an administrative secretary for the Eugene School District. She worked three days a week at the Gerontology Institute at Sacred Heart.
Survivors include daughter Jean Laferty of Vancouver, Wash.; six sons, Gary Millhollen of Eugene, Michael Millhollen of Portland, Ray Farman of Ridgefield, Wash., Greg Farman of Austin, Texas, Roy Farman of Brush Prairie, Wash., Bruce Farman of Portland; sisters Alta Roberts of Redmond and Alyce Anglin of Dallas, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
