Obituary of Anita M. Haddon
Anita Haddon passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 after a courageous battle with heart disease and its complications. She was born August 23, 1927 in Anacortes, WA. but spent most of her adult life in Tacoma, WA. She met and married the love of her life, our dad, Howard Haddon on June 21, 1945. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and they had many adventures throughout their life together. Some humorous, some scary but all a part of her long and wonderful life. He preceded her in death by some 27 years, but her love for him never died. She was a dedicated member of F.O.E. Aerie #3, and spent many tireless days and nights working for the betterment of the club. She volunteered her time and energy, and there was nothing she wouldn't do to help make it a successful club. She is survived by her daughter Glory Truax, son Dan and wife Kathy Haddon, grandchildren Tonya, Nick and Chris and great grandchildren Jordan, Chase, Avery and Natalie. Please help us celebrate her life Saturday, January 23rd at F.O.E. #3, 4810 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA. starting at 5:00 pm. We will miss you, our mother, our grandmother, our friend.
