- Married SOPHRONIA BALL on November 19, 1821. Sophronia was born August 8, 1804 in Amherst, Hampshire County, Massachusetts; and died January 28, 1899. Her parents were Rev. ABRAM BALL and MARTHA FIELD.

Resided in Benson VT, then returned to Leverett MA. Was Justice of the Peace for 21 years and member of the State Senate for 2 years.
- Died October 14, 1879.

- MARTHA FIELD, born March 29, 1823; died July 5, 1859.
- DAN FIELD, born April 19, 1827. Occupation - Farmer in Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts. He never married.
- ASA LEE FIELD, born September 15, 1828; died December 1, 1846.
