- Married MARY WARD FIELD on June 12, 1834. Mary was born November 30, 1807; and died February 25, 1883. Her parents were SILAS FIELD and ELIZABETH WOODBURY.
- He was a captain of militia for several years, a leading man in town, holding various town offices. A thorough business man and a successful farmer.
- Died August 3, 1885 in Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts.

- EDWARD FIELD, born June 25, 1839 in Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts. Married LUCY ANN ASHLEY on January 2, 1877 in Leverett, Franklin County, Massachusetts.
- MARY E. FIELD, born September 26, 1841; died November 10, 1877. She never married.
