JOHN REDMAN HARTWELL. He was a deacon of the Congregational church in Lincoln and later in Millis. He was the last Hartwell to live on the old Hartwell farm in Lincoln, and his first three children were born there. About 1876 the place was sold to John Dee, who sold it in 1924 to Misses Fitch and Poor and it was made into a first class dining establishment.
