Biography of Dr. Alexander Sears

Dr. Sears removed with his parents to Yankeetown, Madison township, Fayette county, Ohio, in fall of 1818; studied medicine with Dr. Eleazar Martin of Bloomingburg, O.; removed to Leesburg, Ind., and thence to Naples, Ill., practising for a while at Meredocia, Ill.; graduated medicine, Louisville, Ky., and finally settled in Marshall, Texas, where he became eminient as a physician and surgeon.
