- WILLIAM RIPLEY BROWN, born July 16, 1840 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. Graduated from Union College in 1862. Married LIZZIE E. BALCOM on October 28, 1868. Was member of the U.S. House of Representatives 1875-1877. Died March 4, 1916 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
- CHARLES EDWARD BROWN, born September 15, 1842; died June 15, 1880. Married HARRIET BELL on June 15, 1880.
- MARY WHITON BROWN, born January 15, 1845. Married ALFRED WHITMAN on April 4, 1867.
