- Married ANN ELIZABETH WETHERBEE on December 13, 1832 in New Ipswich, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Ann was born August 26, 1807 in Boston, Suffolk county, Massachusetts; and died November 7, 1906. She was the daughter of ABIJAH WETHERBEE and ELIZABETH WILDER.
- Graduated from Harvard College in 1826.
- Occupation - Pastor of Unitarian Church, Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont; later, editor of the Vermont Phoenix
- Died May 11, 1872.

- ADDISON BROWN, born June 6, 1838; died March 3, 1865. Married FLORIDA S. STARR on February 7, 1863 in Washington, District of Columbia.
- CHARLES WETHERBEE BROWN, born November 7, 1840. Married ELIZABETH STARR on August 20, 1867.
- MARY HANNAH BROWN, born July 5, 1842. Married Captain DENNIS W. FARRAR on July 31, 1863. Married Colonel AUGUSTUS T. DUNTON on February 7, 1867.
